Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio has had an intense 2017: She bounced back from a broken hip suffered in October 2016 to becoming SA National Road Time Trial Champion and race her way to third place in the UCI Women’s Elite rankings, the highest UCI ranking held by any South African road cyclist ever. Here the former SA Sportswoman Of The Year tells us what it’s like to be one of the top three female racers in the world, and what it took for her to come back strongly.
