Trek has released a new generation of its ultralight Émonda road bike line, making its lightest road bike even lighter! The bike brand has shaved 50g off the previous SLR models, now weighing in at a svelte 640g for the frame. You can also customise your Émonda with the Trek Project One which also includes disc brake options.

Since its release in 2014, Émonda SLR has set the standard for lightweight road bike performance. For the all-new Émonda line-up, Trek developed a new carbon layup that made its lightest bike even lighter. The 700 Series OCLV Carbon frame also enjoys increases in stiffness and compliance, making the new Émonda family an offering with both the performance attributes required by dedicated racers and improved ride quality for everyday cyclists.

New models of the Émonda SL pair much of the same technology with 500 Series OCLV Carbon frames while an entirely new Women’s model, Émonda SL 5 Women’s, has been added to the SL line-up.

Émonda is the bike that will challenge the best on the climbs, corners, and descents of cycling’s biggest races, as well as your local crit.
