I recently purchased the Expert after a year on the Scott Scale Elite 29er and although I enjoyed my previous steed, I have found the Expert 29er really comfortable,great on down hills and single track ( rear tyre Maxxis Crossmark and front Maxxis Ikon), and the twin lock system is great for climbing out the saddle stiffining up the ride.
The finish is of exceptionally high standard and the looks are superb.
I find the braking sharp(more so than the Elite) and the changing smoother (although both are shod with SLX ). The team edition Stella Italia saddle feel good on the rear end.
My kinda bike.Cannot stop raving.Go Scott.
I purchased a Scott Spark Expert 29er for myself and a Scott Spark Elite 29er for my wife. Both bikes are exceptional value and give a smooth ride. I am still in the ealry stage getting used to it but considering the ride and gearing, am considering ditching my road bike as well to use my Scott in the Argus.
