Come the Northern Hemisphere summer, all the bike brands prepare feverishly for the arrival of cycling journalists at carefully-chosen exotic locations, keen to have the jaded bunch try out their crop of new bikes that are ‘set to revolutionise the industry’ and ‘set the cat among the pigeons’. Well; not all of them promise as much, but it’s safe to say there’s a lot of hype around the following year’s range. Amid the ballyhoo, we spotted some trends as to where we think the future is heading. Have a read, bookmark this page, then click on it again in 2015 to see if we were right.

    Why does your site/articles take forever to load. It is one of the few that is consistantly slow.

    With regard to the trend of 27.5 inch wheels becoming more popular: Nice try, you Marketers out there! Now that most people have bought 29ers, you need us to buy something else, so you try and flog a 27.5 inch wheel!

    No way will a 27.5er be faster than a 29er.

    Hey I love my 2013 Aspect 920, 29er. Can’t you guys do a shootout for bikes under R10k?

    i have waited for the 650 b and i am not dissapointed,i am riding faster, easier, less effort to get uphill. i only now use my 26er to train on. extremly happy
