As usual this race never lived up to the pre-race information !
nearly 1500 meters of climbing is NOT for the average cyclist after being promised an easy ride around the dam.
the marking was shocking with riders lost all over the valley !
a water table at 18 k with the next one at 44 k is just not on in that terrain.
as for the better run into Durban ?????????? raw sewerage, senseless climbs in resedential areas & to top it all we still waded the Umgeni river on the way home !
I like many other riders have riden my LAST KZN Expidition !
