Is Australian cricketer, Shane Warne a cyclist-hater, or was his heated exchange with a cyclist justified?
Warne went on the rampage on twitter (@warne888) in the last few days where he claims a cyclist held on to the back of his car for a free ride and then, at the traffic lights, thumped the bonnet with his hand and held up traffic.
According to a report by the Herald Sun, the version of events differs from Warne to the cyclist with Warne stating that he yelled at the cyclist, who in turn abused the cricketer. The cyclist denies he ever hit the cricketer’s car and claims Warne “nearly rode him over” causing damages to his bike. Warne reported the incident to the police and has called for riders to obey the rules of the road and keep it safe for everyone. Watch the video below.
