After four editions of the Fedgroup PE-Plett four-day MTB stage race – normally held in September – organisers Red Cherry have shifted the event to early March so as to avoid the adverse weather conditions that have plagued previous editions. This change will ensure better conditions and also provide a form tester for those preparing for the ABSA Cape Epic.

The scenic event gives riders an exciting route along the coast from the Eastern Cape to the Western Cape – well, depending on whether its an up or down run which is one of the event’s unique attractions. Organiser also announced that FedGroup have committed to a three-year headline sponsorship.
