The Manx Missile Mark Cavendish was in Cape Town recently to take on the Cape Town Cycle Tour. Bicycling got the opportunity to sit down over a glass of wine with the fastest man on two wheels – and talk superstitions, life after cycling, and fairies.

Yesterday the organisers of the Cape Town Cycle Tour announced that, in light of the devastating fires affecting a large portion of the route, the 2015 route would be vastly shortened to 47km. We asked readers to share their thoughts on the news of the shorter route.
