We’re only four stages into the 2014 Tour de France and the first day of racing in France brought us our first Thomas Voeckler attack (caught with 16k remaining). While the stage winner and former French national champion lacks the brute force and never-say-die attitude of fellow breakaway legend Jens Voigt, nobody suffers off the front with as much panache, or exposed tongue.
