Do this full-body move today to boost fitness and strengthen your hips, core, legs and arms.

A recent study found that a 20-minute kettlebell workout boosts aerobic fitness and builds hip, core, leg, and arm muscles—making it ideal for cyclists. Oh, and it torches up to 1140kj. Try this full-body move, using a 3-5kg weight to start.

The Swing

Stand with feet apart, holding a kettlebell in front of you. With your back straight, press down into a squat. Swing the kettlebell back through your legs. Stand and press hips forward, swinging the weight to chest level. Do three sets of 10 to 15 reps.
