How do you manage the mayhem, a house full of guests and a belly stuffed with food on Christmas Day? You get a two -wheeled high that lasts all day. - By Jennifer Sherry
5 a.m. Rise and Roll
Assuming you’ve outgrown the tradition of whooping it up till all hours during the holidays, make it your goal to rise before the sun does. Be on your bike and out the door no later than your planned time—the longer you dawdle, the better the chance that you’ll stay home. Set a reasonable goal—an hour-long ride, two if you can—and stick with it. With your ride out of the way, you’ll have enough time for a shower and be in your Sunday best by 8. Plus you won’t have your other half moaning about the fact that you are on your bike when you should be spending QT with the kids. They’ll still be asleep dreaming of Father Christmas.
