How do you manage the mayhem, a house full of guests and a belly stuffed with food on Christmas Day? You get a two -wheeled high that lasts all day. - By Jennifer Sherry
2 pm. Time For Hors D' Oeuvres
Today is a holiday, hardly the time to bore your guests with celery sticks and radishes. But you can keep the pre-feast fare light and healthy. Replace cocktail sausages with shrimp cocktail, and potato chips and onion dip with fresh salsa and tortilla chips. Then put the whole display far away—as in, out of uncle Eddie’s reach. The harder people have to work for food, the less likely they are to overindulge. Likewise, the old “out of sight, out of mind” adage works wonders here. As snacking applies to you, make a game of it. For every 10 chips your old man dips, you dip one.
