ITINERARY
DAY 1 – FRIDAY
The group meets at Bushveld Terrace Hotel and Guest House, just outside the Phalaborwa gate. We do a 30-40km ride in the direction of Letaba Ranch, stopping for a delicious sundowner drink on the way. We arrive back at Bushveld Terrace in time to freshen up for a lovely dinner in the restaurant, and a night in the hotel.
DAY 2 – SATURDAY
The cycle tour starts early, and your group will be accompanied by two armed guides.
From the hotel, you’ll cycle into the Kruger – this is Big Five country! There will be regular stops on the 45 km trail to look at animal tracks, watch birds and learn more about nature. After breakfast, you’ll cycle to your exclusive campsite for the night on the banks of the Letaba River. Lunch will be prepared and you can spend the rest of the afternoon lazing next to the river. Later, have sundowners, then settle around the campfire for a delicious dinner.
DAY 3 – SUNDAY
We wake up to the sound of francolins and other birds in the trees, and have a full breakfast next to the Letaba River before setting off on the bicycles. After a two-hour ride we’ll meet the catering team next to the Malopeni River for refreshments. Then we’ll follow a different route back to the Phalaborwa gate, where we’ll say goodbye. (Total cycling distance on Day 3: 40 km)

NOT INCLUDED:
Drinks (cash bar available); personal expenses; entrance fees; insurance and transport to and from Bushveld Terrace. Bring your own bike, or hire one for R250 a day.

The group size is limited to six people (six minimum) and is led by a registered guide. A vehicle will transport your luggage.
DATES
You can book your tour for any weekend between March and October 2018. Tours run over the weekend from Friday to Sunday, e.g. 2-4 March 2018.
