DESCRIPTION:WHICH SANI2C SHOULD I ENTER?  \nThere are three versions of the same event at KAP sani2c\, because there a lot of people who want to ride sani2c\, and a lot of them want to do it again\, and again\, every year in fact. So the team started duplicating sani2c to create more space\, with all three events now taking place over five days. The three events have each developed their own special character. \nKAP sani2c e-Trail ( formerly known as the KAP sani2c Trail) \nThis is the e-bike race\, though all riders are welcome here. This event promises to develop its character over time\, as 2024 was the first year that e-bikes were put into one focused event and the decision was made to keep this event smaller\, with just 250 teams\, or 500 riders. The added bonus? All riders enjoy a tent to themselves. \nThere is racing at e-Trail\, with leaders’ jerseys after each stage\, and the competition is fierce upfront. e-Trail riders love their mountain biking\, but some just don’t get the time to train to do the sani trails justice. Their e-bike helps them to enjoy the true value of a sani2c entry\, the ridiculously fun singletrack. \ne-Trail starts on Tuesday and finishes on Thursday. DESCRIPTION:There are this year THREE distances to choose from: \n\n140km Gravel Race\n100 kilometers\n55km’s fun ride\n\nPutting this route together has had many challenges but with help from landowners and a few seasonal gravel riders we managed to put something truly spectacular together.  Makadas Adventures\, MATA & Africa Game Lodge presents a route….. that is truly out of Africa.  Magical\, special\, unique\, and diverse are words that comes to mind. \nGravel Racing \nMore options this year with three distances to choose from: \n\n55km\n100km\n140km\n\n55km Fun Gravel Ride \nAlso take note that there is a School’s Challenge on this year at a reduced rate for learners.  The 55km Gravel Fun Ride will be used for the School’s Challenge and prizes for the 1st/2nd & 3rd men and ladies riders in. Total climb: 811m \n100km Gravel Race \nThe route for the 100km event traverses the stunning Africa Game Lodge and you will be spoiled to magnificent views and many different types of game: Eland\, Kudu\, Gemsbuck\, Giraffe etc. This route consists of multiple types of terrain. DESCRIPTION:What is Ride the Rhenoster? \nEstablished in 2008 as a means to raise funds for conservation and showcase the natural beauty of the region\, Ride the Rhenoster is a one day trail ride through the Crocodile River Reserve\, a protected area on the doorstep of Joburg and Tshwane. \nOnce a year\, the landowners in the Crocodile River Reserve open up their properties for you to take a scenic MTB ride through the beautiful landscapes and views just 20 minutes from Fourways. \nRiders are able to discover the beauty of the reserve and the many secrets it hides\, from the mystery of ladybird castle to the old silver mine\, snake through beautiful single track and quiet district roads and discover the history of Koppie Alleen. \n\n\nSee for yourself \n\n\n\n\nIt is not a race for everyone\, to some\, it is about the journey. \nRiders will be able to follow a predetermined route with multiple feature stops along the way. Each feature stop includes a guide who will share the stories of the land and its features with you. Joining the ride ensures your contribution to conserving this precious landscape with its rare and special fauna and flora. \nRide the Rhenoster is open only once a year to a small field of 300 Riders. The 40km route is a diverse technical trail. The 20km\, although still challenging\, has been set up with novice riders in mind. DESCRIPTION:The Masgcor Cederberg Trek just got more interesting!  \nWe added a short format for 2024    \nThe entry fee remained unchanged from 2023! \nAND we added a Gravel Bike Category to the Full format! \nAND you can pay your entry fee in instalments! \nFormats: \nFull: 160km over 2 days \nLite: 110km over 2 days \nBoth formats will start together at Augsburg School (farm premises) outside Clanwilliam on Saturday 19 October 2024. \nCategories: \nFull: MTB and Gravel Bike (male and female). Note that e-bike riders are not eligible for podiums or prizes. \nLite: No official timing for this format. \nEntry fee includes: \n\nCamping fee at Nuwerust\nTent\nMattress\nAll meals (Saturday lunch and supper and Sunday breakfast\, and pancakes throughout Saturday!)\nCharging stations for e-bike batteries overnight.\nBest goody bag ever!\nCoolest T-shirt ever!\nFully stocked water points\nFully marked route\nTiming – for the Full format only.
