The Start/Finish is at Living Colour in Darling\, where food\, drinks\, and post event vibes await. \nThanks to developing relationships with our neighbouring farms\, this year’s event will have no tar crossings and promises untrammelled single track\, decent climbs and breath-taking views. DESCRIPTION:The Swartberg100 Gran Fondo starts and ends in Prince Albert. Arguably one of the most attractive Karoo towns in South Africa. \nIt covers 171 km of which there are 3 gravel sectors. The final climb is over the gravel Swartberg Pass\, a relentless climb of 28km with gradients of 16% as you reach the summit. \nThe Staffetta (Italian for relay race)\, follows the Gran Fondo Route and divides it exactly in 2 x 85.5 km stages. The first stage is suited to a rouleur and the second stage to a grimpeur type rider \nThe Medio Fondo – flat and fast 55km with 350m of ascent \nThe E-Fondo is for a pedal assisted e-bikes and follows the Medio Fondo Route. DESCRIPTION:Tour de Addo\, a unique Mountain Bike event staged in the mighty Addo Elephant National Park\, some 1640 km2 in size. \nThe ride which is not a race will see a limited field of 35 riders tackle a 5-day mountain bike experience using two Glamping sites\, in the heart of the Addo Elephant National Park. \nDue to the nature of the terrain and the wildlife the group is accompanied by armed rangers with a lead and sweep vehicle to ensure safe passage for all. \nThe Ride is a true social affair with daily distances ranging from 25km to 50km per day. Adding to the social ride are the wonderful tented villages offering luxury tents with comfy bedding\, exquisite cuisine\, game walks\, star spotting\, and wonderful talks in the evening by some fascinating characters. \nE-Bikes are more than welcome and there will be capacity to move batteries on the ride and charge bikes in the evenings. \nAs we always have a game drive vehicle with us\, the option to load your bike up and rest the legs is always available. So don’t let the distances scare you\, anybody can make it as we have plenty of support following the group at all times.

On impact\, it created a crater around 160–300 km across. The meteorite impact is the oldest and largest known meteorite impact structure on earth which is still visible today.\n\nKnown as the Vredefort Dome\, it is declared a world heritage site and the perfect setting for mountain bike racing. The route follows the banks of the third largest river in South Africa\, the Vaal River.
