DESCRIPTION:Imagine an asteroid the size of Table Mountain\, heading for Earth at an estimated speed of 20 km per second. This is what happened in the Free State 2 Billion years ago.\n\nOn impact\, it created a crater around 160–300 km across. The meteorite impact is the oldest and largest known meteorite impact structure on earth which is still visible today.\nKnown as the Vredefort Dome\, it is declared a world heritage site and the perfect setting for mountain bike racing. The route follows the banks of the third largest river in South Africa\, the Vaal River. DESCRIPTION:This is a Charity Event. All funds raised for Lions Club Youth Development and Children’s Home Feeding Projects.  \nMTB Race: Premises will open at 5h00\, 60km will start at 7h00 SHARP\, 35km thereafter and then the 10km. \nDuck Race: A duck race is a fun event where rubber ducks are released into a body of water\, such as a river or pool\, and then race to the finish line. Each rubber duck is typically numbered\, and people can purchase a corresponding numbered ticket. The first rubber duck to cross the finish line is the winner\, and the person who purchased the corresponding ticket wins a prize.
