DESCRIPTION:The Cool Ideas Cradle Mountain Trophy is a two-day mountain biking event always promises to be an exhilarating experience and will take place over the weekend of 24th and 25th October 2020. If you are training for Kap Sani2C or other races around that time\, then this must be an event that’s on your training schedule. \nhis is without a doubt the most popular\, engaging and spectacular 2-day event in and around Gauteng. \nWe are pleased to announce that we now have a new home for The Cool Ideas Cradle Mountain Trophy in the form of Happy Acres\, situated just down from Maropeng near Magaliesburg. It is approximately 10km further down the road\, so there is no long drive to the start. \nAnd the weekend caters for riders of all abilities – offering distances from 75km\, 45km to 30km.(Note change in this distance) \nIf you have done this mountain biking event before\, you will know that The Cool Ideas Cradle Mountain Trophy promises a fantastic offering of single track\, plus some challenging off-road and\, of course\, some good technical aspects. But do remember that we call this the “Mountain Trophy” for good reason. It is not all flat. We will be making good use of tracks and trails which have previously been used for private events. \nIf you are training for the Kap Sani2C or other postponed races\, then this must be an event that’s on your training schedule. \nMOUNTAIN BIKE OPTIONS \nRiders will have the option of competing in four different events\, namely: \n\nThe Cradle Mountain Trophy – 75km on Saturday the 24th and 45km on Sunday the 25th of October –\n\nStage 1: 75km of exhilarating riding\, beautiful views\, a few hills and much\, much more\nStage 2: 45km of even more unbelievable riding.\n\n\nThe Cradle Mountain Challenge – 75km on Saturday the 24th\nThe Cradle Mountain Adventure – 45km on Sunday the 25th\nThe Mini Cradle Mountain Adventure – 30km on Sunday the 25th (New Junior < 19 category included.)\n\nEntries will close on Wednesday 7 October. No late entries will be accepted.  \nEntries are now open – CLICK HERE to enter \nThe event will be a SA Seeding event\, and riders will be seeded according to their SA Seeding Index.

DESCRIPTION:In the light of recent developments relating to the Coronavirus pandemic\, the organisers of KAP sani2c\, the three-day mountain bike stage race in KwaZulu-Natal due to be held from 12-16 May\, have made the decision to postpone the event to December. \nAll existing riders’ entries will automatically be moved to the new December dates. For those who are not able to make the new dates\, please contact the race office or Entry Ninja support to roll over your entry to next year’s event. \n\nThe new dates for KAP sani2c will be 1-5 December\, with the Trail version taking place from 1- 3 December\, the Adventure from 2-4 December\, and the Race will be from 3-5 December. \nThe KAP sani2c is a 265km ride from Glencairn Farm in Underberg to Scottburgh on the KZN South Coast. \nThe event takes teams of two through some of the province’s most iconic scenery with the Umkomaas Valley providing a breath-taking backdrop on the second day of the event. \nWith hospitality second-to-none and trails that make mountain biking a pleasure\, the KAP sani2c should be on any mountain bikers bucket list! \n  \n

It is a professionally hosted\, competitive and unique event experience for all levels of cyclists looking for an opportunity to experience at least a few elements of Durbanville and its surrounding vineyards and natural beauty. \nThe DURBIE DASH offers a carefully planned portfolio of events to road and mountain bikers. \nThe road event portfolio includes two exciting events. Both road events start in Oxford Street\, next to the cricket fields where the starting groups will be formed. \nBoth the 90km and 46km distances are Cycling SA sanctioned events. But this time we do it in reverse. \nScenic route with fast and flattish drags. From 80km the route will start taking you on the climbs\, steep and long enough to show you what goes down must go up! \nYou will finish off at Die Wildevy Wedding Venue where you will be served a selection of homemade pies and refreshing salads by the pool where you can relax and enjoy. \n\nRoute is a roundabout loop that will take you back to where you start.\nIt is reasonably flat and fast but will test your endurance in the legs.\nThis is the perfect social ride!\nRoutes will not be marked and will be by GPS navigation ONLY.\n137km with 500m elevation.

DESCRIPTION:After we had to move the original date of this event due to Covid our second option date will be on the 11th of December 2021. Riders that entered the original event had the option to either ride on the 14th of August or the 11th of December.  If you opted for the 11th of December then you are already entered. If you opted to ride on the 14th of August you can still enter this event. \nLocated in Paarl in the heart of the Boland of the Western Cape\, Perdeberg Winery enjoys one of the finest wine-growing regions of the Cape. Our winery lies at the foot of the magnificent Perdeberg Mountain\, named after the scores of Cape Mountain Zebra that once roamed this beautiful mountainside. \nThe 15km\, 30km and 60km route will meander through the vineyards and rolling hills of farms in the area. None of the routes will be difficult or technical as the aim of the trails at Perdeberg is to cater for the more social family and friend outings. The more serious riders can take up the longer 60km distance. \nKids under 12 are free but kids under 8 must be accompanied by a paid adult. \nThe new route will also pass a new section all along the Game Reserve at one of the adjacent farms.

DESCRIPTION:WESBANK LEOPARD CRAWL\nMOUNTAIN BIKE & TRAIL RUN ROUTES\nThe Leopard Crawl offers 3 mountain bike routes ( 72km\, 45km and 18km ) as well as a challenging 12\,5km trail run route. Family events include the 13km (08:00 | R40) and 5km fun ride/walk (09:15 | R25). Only same day entries allowed for these events. \nAll events will start at Wesbank Primary School in Park Road\, Oudtshoorn. \n\n\nREGISTRATION & CSA LICENCE\n\n\n\n\nRemember to bring along your valid CSA licence for the mountain bike events. If you do not have one\, you will need to pay the R35 temporary day licence. Trail runners do not need a day licence. CSA licence needed for the 72km and 45km events. Buy your licence online and avoid the long queues at registration. NB!! No rider under 19 may compete in the 72 km race as per CSA rules. \n\n\nRACE CUT-OFF (MTB ONLY)\n11:30 at De Zeekoe\, 13km from the Finish\, at the last water point. \nTIME OF PRIZE GIVING\, 12:00\nPrize Money\, medals and lucky draws.
