DESCRIPTION:The Sneeuberg Crawl is a ‘revitalised’ MTB race\, which started as a social ride for the farmers in the area more than 20 years ago. \nWith a revamped 110km route that loops into the Karoo wilderness along back roads\, farm roads\, sheep trails and sections of newly built MTB trails (along with a small 5km section of district tarred road)\, you are sure to discover an area that you’ve never seen before! \nRiding more than 100km is never easy\, but this is a great ride for the newbie to the world of +100km riding at under 1500m of climbing. \nThe 50km and 30km routes are for those riders who are still a bit shy for longer periods in the saddle\, but still want to experience this magical area. \nArrive early on the Friday for registration and a top class Karoo braai. \nOnce the Race is finished relax at our Karoo Race Village (humble yet relaxing!) with an ice cold beer and some true Karoo Food. \nThere are a number of great accommodation options available in and around town. Lourensford offers the most scenic and interesting trail combinations. It is ideally located between Helderberg and the Hottentots Holland mountains with views of False Bay and Stellenbosch mountains and vineyards. \nStart & Finish venue:  The parking area in Lourensford\, opposite the Polo Field. \nThree entry options are offered; \n•           The Lourensford Classic\, 50km with 2000m climbing (TUFF STUFF); R650 per person; \n•           The Lourensford Max\, 30km with 900m climbing; R550 per person \n•           The Lourensford Light\, 15km and 270m climbing. R350 per person \nAll entries include a Hamburger\, chips and cooldrink at the finish. \n*Please ensure that you download and sign the indemnity form! \nROUTE INFORMATION \nDue to the proximity of the mountains\, Lourensford offers plenty of climbing and downhill options. DESCRIPTION:The Swartberg100 Gran Fondo starts and ends in Prince Albert\, arguably one of the most attractive Karoo towns in South Africa\, it covers 171 km of which there are 3 gravel sectors. The final climb is over the gravel Swartberg Pass\, a relentless climb of 28 km with gradients of 16% as you reach the summit. \nThe Staffetta (Italian for relay race)\, follows the Gran Fondo Route and divides it exactly in 2 x 85.5 km stages. DESCRIPTION:About the Event \nRy Hom Kwagga is a new two day mountain bike event set in the Agterveld region\, Montagu\, Touwsriver area. \nAbout the area: \nThis is the Klein Karoo at it’s best\, vast expanses\, clean air\, the sound and smells of the veld\, stars so close you can almost touch it.  Look further and expand your horizons\, this allows you to breathe and dream again. \nOver the last 20 years this area has gone from sheep farming to guest farms and the game has moved into our area by themselves: gemsbuck\, eland\, kudu\, wildebeest and of course the Quagga/Kwagga has been here\, also many of smaller game species. \nThis two day event has two distances to choose from\, your longer distance will include some technical terrain while the shorter distances are just great riding\, jeep track that is in good condition. \nThe trails we chose for this runs through seven different farms ranging from cattle to sheep farms but with an outlook of hospitality and bringing nature back into balance.  On one of the farms\, Middelberg Guest Farm you might spot the Kwaggas and if you look closely you will see stripes disappearing from the back side like the original Quagga. \nE Bikes are welcome \nVisit Event website for more info \nTHESE ARE NOT GRAVEL GRINDER EVENTS! \nStage 1: 78km with 1047m ascent \n50km with 492m ascent \nStage 2: 75km with 1040m ascent \n48km with 600m ascent \nCost:  R1200 which includes two Passion4Wholeness breakfasts

DESCRIPTION:OVERVIEW & FACTS \nThe Houwhoek Tour gives you the opportunity to cycle some of the W2W RACE routes. The Tour also aims to let you explore and experience what a multi-stage event is all about. The event is untimed and offers a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. \nEntry Fee: \nR1 000 per person (individual entries not team entries). The entry fee includes Hamburger and chips on Saturday and a Wors roll and chips on Sunday\, but exclude accommodation \nStart times: \n\nStarting batches at 7h30\, 7h45\, 8h00\n\nRegistration: \n\n6 May from 14h00 until 19h00 at the Houwhoek Hotel\n7/8 May from 7h00 until 8h00 at the Houwhoek Hotel\n\nROUTE INFORMATION \nThe start and finish of both stages will be at the Houwhoek Hotel.  3 Groups will start every 15 minutes from 7h30 until 8h00 from the lawn at the back of the Hotel. E-Bikes are allowed. \n\nWildekrans Loop on Saturday\nA 45km loop down Houwhoek Pass\, on the new Beaumont River Trail\, Van der Stel Pass\, Rooihoogte\, Wildekrans and back along the Houwhoek Pass.\nPaul Cluver Loop on Sunday\nA 45km loop past Lebanon town\, via Thandi Switchbacks\, Kromco and the popular trail sections in Paul Cluver.
