Join us for the last supermoon of the year\, and let’s see how many laps of the Coetzenburg XCO track you can do in the dark. \nThe race will take place on a very lightly modified (for safety) version of the UCI XCO World Cup track at Coetzenburg. DESCRIPTION:Tour de Addo\, a unique Mountain Bike event staged in the mighty Addo Elephant National Park\, some 1640 km2 in size.\nAddo is host to magnificent game life including the Big 7. \nThe ride which is not a race will see a limited field of 35 riders tackle a 5-day mountain bike experience using two Glamping sites\, in the heart of the Addo Elephant National Park. Due to the nature of the terrain and the wildlife the group is accompanied by armed rangers with a lead and sweep vehicle to ensure safe passage for all. \nThe Ride is a true social affair with daily distances ranging from 25km to 50km per day. Adding to the social ride are the wonderful tented villages offering luxury tents with comfy bedding\, exquisite cuisine\, game walks\, star spotting\, and wonderful talks in the evening by some fascinating characters. \nE-Bikes are more than welcome and there will be capacity to move batteries on the ride and charge bikes in the evenings. As we always have a game drive vehicle with us\, the option to load your bike up and rest the legs is always available. DESCRIPTION:Rooibos MTB is proudly sponsored by Carmien Rooibos Tea. \nRooibos MTB by Carmien is a 2-day Mountain Biking event which will take place on 22 & 23 July 2023. \nIt is NOT a multi-staged event\, therefore you can select your day and distance of preference. \nThere will be two distances each day: 87km route and 30km route. \nThe scenic routes pass over privately owned farms and district roads which are non-technical. \nAll routes are suitable for mountain-\, gravel- and e-bikes. \nPlease take note that the 87km is recommended for the experienced longer distance riders. \nMore information: www.rooibosmtb.co.za/
