DESCRIPTION:The Heartland Gravenduro \nThe daylight hours will be an immersive experience across barren wastelands\, mountain passes and river valleys interspersed with racing segments of different disciplines.\nThe terrain is undoubtedly the domain of the gravel bike – drop bars\, stiff frame\, big chainring. DESCRIPTION:Make a difference while having a great weekend! \nJoin us for a luxury 2-day/1-night 80km MTB ride in the foothills of the Outeniquas in the Garden Route. The Garden Route is without a doubt one of the most beautiful\, scenic regions in our country. \nRiders will receive lucky draw prizes\, goodie bags with packets of our famous choc chip cookies and more! Enter now to make sure you are a part of this unique experience. \nAll funds raised will go to Up with Downs – centre for learners with special needs. \nThe route \nThe route is suitable for cyclists with moderate to good fitness levels with no special technical riding skills required. DESCRIPTION:Lindani will once again be hosting our annual Top of the Waterberg Gravel Ride on the 29th of October. We have three routes planned: 130km\, 42km\, and 16km\, which will take you around the beautiful Waterberg escarpment. In addition to riding with wildlife on Lindani\, those doing the 130km and 42km will also be treated to riding a beautiful new section through Jembisa private reserve as well. \nDate:              29th October 2022 \nVenue:           Lindani Game & Lodges (Motseng lodge)\, Vaalwater\, Limpopo \nLess than 2 and a half hours from PTA \nGPS:                24o03’03.52”S\, 28o20’31.17”E \nDistances:      130km (Ages 19years & older) \n42km (15years & older) \n            16km (All ages) \nTerrain:           Gravel Road and Jeep tracks. Gravel Bikes will be fine on all the terrain but some sections are better suited to mountain bikes. DESCRIPTION:Riders can ride SOLO or RELAY as teams of 2 to 4 riders for 6 hours. \nFun Cup events are held on 5 to 8km courses designed for everyone to enjoy\, from the fastest racing snakes to the most social weekend riders. \nOur “Race Village” is where teams and solo riders set up gazebos\, pop up camping chairs and bring the whole family. This is where all riders can refresh and refill as often as needed. You’ll definitely feel the vibe\, support and the gees as you ride past up to 100 other teams and gazebos every time you start and complete a lap. \nIf you’re new to cycling or still looking for your desired fitness level\, enter as a team of 3 or 4 riders\, to relay more often and save some energy. \nIf you’re pretty fit and looking to spend more time on the bike\, enter as a 2 rider team to clock more laps per person. \nFor the brave and fit\, accept the challenge and enter solo. It’s a hard but rewarding way to spend a Saturday Morning.
