DESCRIPTION:Looking for a challenge? Try “The Grind”. 150km of gravel starting from Maropeng\, in the Cradle of Humankind\, on an out-and-back route. Something new from The Leverage Corporation. We have seen many offerings for this kind of race\, but this will be done in True Leverage Corporation Style. Nice and slick\, nice and classy\, and an event to remember for all the right reasons. \nYou will ride from Maropeng\, into the Magalies region and then encounter areas that are little known to the average cyclist. Areas that are largely unexplored and that you probably have never heard of\, such as Maanhaarrand\, Vlakfontein\, Koesterfontein\, and a few more will be explored. \nCan you do it in 12 hours or less? Well\, that’s up to you. \nWe have tried to keep it reasonably flat\, but there’s still just over 1700m of climbing. \nOn the route\, we will have 5 checkpoints\, and these will double as change-over points\, well-stocked water tables\, and rest stations. \nThe good news is that you can choose to do it as a solo rider\, or you can get a team of two\, or a team of four together and share the 150km load. \n\nSolo riders will do 150km\nTeams of 2 will do 90km each\nTeams of 4 will do 60km each\n\nMore information: leveragecorporation.co.za/the-grind/

DESCRIPTION:From the team that brings you events including Dirty South\, Yeti Gravel\, Cape Crusade and many more\, a new adventure awaits! \nThe Cape2Nam Titan is a 6 Day Mountain Bike Stage Race from the Cape to the Namibian border. \nThe race takes place from the 20th to the 25th of March 2023. The start will be just outside Paarl\, and the finish is at the Namibian border outside Vioolsdrif\, on the banks of the mighty Orange River. The average distance per Stage is 120 km’s and the terrain is mostly gravel roads. Mountain as well as gravel bikes are allowed. \nAccommodation at each day’s Race Village is in the form of luxury tents. You can choose either a Luxury Shared tent\, or upgrade to a solo Luxury Tent. All the delicious meals are included in the entry fee. \nThere will be a shuttle service available at additional cost back down to Cape Town on Sunday the 26th of March. DESCRIPTION:The Boomerang is a 40km cycle on jeep and single track on private farmland that is mostly otherwise inaccessible. \nCyclists can look forward to breath taking views of the Atlantic Ocean\, Table Mountain and even Kraal Bay through beautiful farmlands and indigenous fynbos reserves. Cyclists will be welcomed at Living Colour with coffee and rusks at registration\, enjoy a water point at !Khwattu and cycle home to their choice of delicious burger and beer (or choice of beverage). The route is well marked for the event and is an untimed event.
