DESCRIPTION:Imagine an asteroid the size of Table Mountain\, heading for Earth at an estimated speed of 20 km per second. This is what happened in the Free State 2 Billion years ago. On impact\, it created a crater around 160–300 km across. The meteorite impact is the oldest and largest known meteorite impact structure on earth which is still visible today.\n\nKnown as the Vredefort Dome\, it is declared a world heritage site and the perfect setting for mountain bike racing. The route follows the banks of the third largest river in South Africa\, the Vaal River. DESCRIPTION:From the team that brings you events including Dirty South\, Yeti Gravel\, Cape Crusade and many more\, a new adventure awaits! \nThe Cape2Nam Titan is a 6 Day Mountain Bike Stage Race from the Cape to the Namibian border. \nThe race takes place from the 20th to the 25th of March 2023. The start will be just outside Paarl\, and the finish is at the Namibian border outside Vioolsdrif\, on the banks of the mighty Orange River. The average distance per Stage is 120 km’s and the terrain is mostly gravel roads. If you are not part of the league\, just ensure that you are older than the minimum age for the distance and select the “Open” category.

DESCRIPTION:DATE: Saturday 15 April 2023\nVENUE: Baywest Mall – Outside entrance 4\nConveniently situated within Nelson Mandela metro at a fantastic venue\, Baywest Mall is your base from which you’ll discover some amazing mountain biking trails and trail running routes within the city limits.\nThe 20km MTB route includes an abundance of flowing singletrack and makes use of Baywest Trails & Norm Hudlin Trails\, with the 40km race consisting of 2 laps.\nThe family-friendly 10km and 5km MTB and trail run routes incorporate the Baywest Trails network. \nRACE ENTRY FEES:\n40km MTB – R280\n40km Ebike – R280\n20km MTB – R230\n10km MTB – R150\n5km MTB – R100 \nAll finishers earn a medal when crossing the finish line.
