Or for those who don’t care and are happy to ride in the desert. We like those people. Like a lot. They are us people. \nThe medium route is no gimmie and we’re sending you way out into the rocky desert to bake. Will there be a Kief Kafé ready to refuel you? You betcha. Will there be a vintage fridge hidden with ice cold cokes in glass bottles – obviously. We’re also looking to have an ice cream van parked somewhere dishing out the goodness – who knows what we’ll come up with. \nDay 2 is shorter with some epic hike-a-bike sections across three river crossings. A hidden Kief Kafè will keep you moist\, as usual. Will there be banging beats played at full volume – OH YEAH! We’ve stopped calling the route short\, as its a bit misleading. Not a single free mile is to be found on this course. Pack your big boy panties for this one. \nWe’re going to ride flippin’ hard. We’re going to eat like desert royalty. Some no doubt will over hydrate in the Onverklaarbar. DESCRIPTION:Ronde Van Riebeek Swartland’s 100 Miler \n\n\n\n\nJoin us Saturday 1 June 2024 for an epic day out on the famous Riebeek Valley gravel roads. 3 distances to choose from: 25\, 50 and 100 miler. Finish on the track\, Roubaix Veledrome style\, and stick around afterwards for some proper Belgian Beer and Frites \n\n\nWe are very excited to announce the details for next year’s race! We have made quite a few improvements on last year’s event to ensure you have the best possible experience at Swartland’s 100 miler. \nAll 3 routes will incorporate some of Riebeek Valley’s finest gravel roads. \nYou will experience beautiful vistas as you meander over rolling hills through wheat fields and vineyards\, you’ll even cross the mighty Berg River over beautiful Steel Bridges and Drifts. \nThe route will be launched in December so keep your eyes peeled and follow us on Facebook and Insta for updates and news. \nFor more information and to enter\, click here
