You asked\, we’ve delivered. It’s back to The Pan baby! Out the park\, up the R355\, hit a left and you’re there. A few hours later\, sure\, but you’ll be there. We’ll be there. The whole circus will be there. It’s going to be a whole thing and then some more. \nYou know what else is back? Yep\, segment racing. Chill with your tjoms and then rip each other’s legs off and then chill for a bit. Repeat. \nThe long route is tough and suited for riders who are happy to spend a good few hours in the saddle. \nThe medium route is no gimmie and we’re sending you way out into the rocky desert to bake. DESCRIPTION:THE INTRO. \nNow in its 4TH year\, The Tanqua Kuru Bicycle Race is a heavenly bicycle race through the harsh Tankwa Karoo. \nThe longer route will turnaround at The Gannaga Lodge where our magically themed lunch stop will be situated. \nThe long route is really tough and suited for experienced riders. Or for those who don’t care and are happy to ride in the desert. We like those people. Like a lot. They are us people. \nThe medium route is no gimmie and we’re sending you way out into the rocky desert to bake. Will there be a Kief Kafé ready to refuel you? You betcha. Will there be a vintage fridge hidden with ice cold cokes in glass bottles – obviously. We’re also looking to have an ice cream van parked somewhere dishing out the goodness – who knows what we’ll come up with. \nDay 2 is shorter with some epic hike-a-bike sections across three river crossings. A hidden Kief Kafè will keep you moist\, as usual. Will there be banging beats played at full volume – OH YEAH! We’ve stopped calling the route short\, as its a bit misleading. Not a single free mile is to be found on this course. Pack your big boy panties for this one. \nWe’re going to ride flippin’ hard. We’re going to eat like desert royalty. Some no doubt will over hydrate in the Onverklaarbar. We’re going to light things on fire and shoot up some fireworks. \nOne thing that we’re going to do more than anything though\, is to disconnect so we can reconnect. \nCome and play in the desert. All classic and vintage steel bikes are welcome. However participants are encouraged to ride a South African made classic or vintage steel bicycle. So dust off your old bike and get it ready! \nThere are two distances\, 80km or 55km. DESCRIPTION:The first nonstop sani2c\, which was held in 2007\, was possibly ahead of its time. 15 years later and in response to countless requests from those who rode back then\, we re-introduced the sani2c nonstop in June 2022. \nA 24-hour cut-off\, teamed mountain bike marathon event with a difference\, the sani2c nonstop is a point-to-point ride. Starting at the base of the Sani Pass and finishing on the shores of Scottburgh beach\, it covers a total distance of 250 kms\, which must be completed within 24 hours. \nTEAMS \nOnly teams are allowed (no solo entries)\, and a team must consist of 2\, 3 or 4 riders + 1 support driver (so either 3\, 4 or 5 people per team). \nThe support driver needs to be entered with the riders in the team. \nYour team entry includes: \n\nTeam of 2\, 3 or 4 riders + 1 support driver\nAwesome race packs including a Salomon event garment\nAmazing trails though KZN.\nTwo compulsory check point stops at Mackenzie and Jolivet with tea\, coffee and snacks\nSalomon event garment\nProfessional medical support by ER24 is included however you will need travel insurance in case of hospitalisation.\n\nFor more information and to enter\, click here

DESCRIPTION:The ROAD TO DESOLATION is a one day race in the heart of Karoo. Graaff-Reinet. \nSince you are most probably travelling to join us we are planning a whole weekend Event. Shake out rides\, community dinners and sundowners at the top of the valley of desolation are just a few happenings to mention. \nThe little town of Graaff-Reinet sits neatly on a bend in the Sunday’s River surrounded by the Camdeboo national park and its inhabitants. \nAfter a hugely successful inaugural event in 2023\, We are looking forward to our second edition. The route takes you through the karoo heartland which you will share with animals and will most likely only see humans at one of the 4 waterpoints. \nThis event is true South African gravel racing. Ask anyone who was there last year. The Valley of desolation is no joke. \nIt has been built up from the ground with a lot of love to detail and the idea of uplifting a community and creating memories for the competitors at heart. \nWe ran a great raffle to win a bike frame last year\, and we’re working on something just as exciting this year. \nJoin us to find Desolation.

DESCRIPTION:Wild Ride Event Overview \n\n\n\n\nThe Wild Ride is a 4 day eco-adventure ride which takes place on the eastern shores of South Africa. It covers nearly 200km of the wild coast between The Great Kei and Umngazi Rivers. \n\n\nIt started in 2000 and is considered one of South Africa’s iconic multi-day MTB adventures. \nRiders start in the small coastal village of Kei Mouth and head eastwards to finish at the renowned Umngazi River Bungalows. \nA small field of 100 teams (pairs) is split over two starting days.
