With these unusual times we all find ourselves in\, with limited sporting activities taking place around the country we want to do our best to keep our customers happy. Our customers are people\, who enjoy life\, enjoy the outdoors\, nature and living an active lifestyle. We have therefore decided to launch our own version of a Virtual Race. Whether it is to shake off the extra kilograms gained during lockdown or maintaining fitness for the planned marathon once all returns to normal. We would like you to join us and many other passionate runners/cyclists from all over the country\, with our first edition of the Sport Culture Virtual Race 1.0.\n\n\nSPRING into ACTION with Sport Culture’s Virtual Race 1.0 is a perfect way to end the Winter season and go all out into Spring. As the days get longer and training gets easier\, we feel this is a perfect platform for those runners & cyclists\, who find it difficult to brave the cold and exercise during dark mornings/evenings. For those athletes who have maintained their fitness levels during winter\, this is a perfect opportunity to compete against other athletes and measuring oneself

SUMMARY:Virtual aQuelle Tour Durban
DESCRIPTION:Got aQuellé Tour Durban FOMO? Riders sad that the road races and the MTB races have been cancelled for 2020 due to the coronavirus lockdown can focus their energy and training on two days of Virtual aQuellé Tour Durban fun at the end of July! Most importantly\, we are committed to keeping up our support for The Domino Foundation\, which is doing amazing work right now helping families hit hard by the lockdown. \nOn Saturday 25 July it is the mountain bikers turn and Sunday 26 July sees the roadies in the spotlight. All you need to do is make a minimum donation of R50 as an entry fee\, and then ride – either ride on roads around you or else ride on a training bike. We will have a live video stream of the MTB and road courses to enjoy while you are riding. \nFor the serious riders the two races will also be part of the KZN Cycling Virtual Series for those that are hooked on ZWIFT technology. \nIt’s our way of dealing with the FOMO and keeping up the Domino idea of #Ride4Good. \nMore information is here: http://tourdurban.co.za/virtual-aquelle-tour-durban/   and you can enter here http://www.cycleevents.co.za/mtb-events/virtual-aquelle-tour-durban-2020/

SUMMARY:Bestmed Tshwane Classic Charity Ride
DESCRIPTION:DATE:  16 JUNE 2020 \nSTART TIME: 07H30 (but you can ride anytime during the day when it suits you!) \nDISTANCE: WHATEVER YOU’RE COMFORTABLE WITH! \nPLACE: ANYWHERE IN SA! \nAre you missing the races? Of course\, you are. We all are! Join us to celebrate the easing into level 3 lockdown on Youth Day by doing a charity social fun ride on Tuesday 16 June 2020. \nAlthough we can’t ride in together in physical proximity\, we’re just going to have fun and each rider can select his own route and distance. \nWe would like cyclists to experience a final bit of camaraderie and lift spirits before the winter cold sets in properly\, and in the process contribute to our SA Cycle4Food beneficiaries. \nIt’s also a great opportunity for kids\, who have been deprived of school sport\, to be active on a day which is fitting for the occasion. \nHow to take part? \nIt’s easy! \nEnter on www.cycleevents.co.za.  The entry fee is R60 per adult and R10 per child under 8 and all entry fees will go to the charity projects mentioned above. \nSelect a route and distance which suits your level of ability\, and simply take off\, knowing that you are part of a community doing something special for a good cause! \nYou can do the ride anywhere in the country! \nThe suggested start time is at 07h30 – but you’re welcome to start later! \n What’s the point? \nJust to have fun; to get out on the road and feel a sense of community\, rivalry and camaraderie\, and knowing that if you take part you are making a difference in someone else’s life. \nThere are no cash prizes\, but we will do lucky draws with delightful gifts donated by one of our beneficiaries\, the “Fat Sheep” Project and we will also be giving away free entries into our events later in the year\, including the Bestmed Tshwane Classic. \nPost your pics please! \nWe’d love to see you out on the road. Take as many pictures as possible and post them on the Bestmed Tshwane Classic Facebook page @tshwaneclassic \nHow do I view results? \nThere are no results. We’re just having fun and contributing to a good cause\, but RaceTec will publish a start list so that you can see which of your friends are also taking part! \nHow to I enter? \nEntries open on 1 June 2020 on www.cycleevents.co.za \nOur beneficiaries: \nCANSA – for more info on CANSA\, go to www.cansa.org.za \nCHOC – for more info on CHOC\, go to www.choc.org.za \nPink Drive – for more info on Pink Drive\, go to www.pinkdrive.co.za \nKatjiepiering Primary School – for more info on Katjiepiering\, go to www.katjiepiering.co.za \nFat Sheep – for more info on Fat Sheep\, go to www.fatsheep.co.za
