DESCRIPTION:Gamka Heritage Challenge is a unique Mtb race with routes from Celebratio Venue in and around the Gamka Oos Area. In addition to the Mtb race there is also a Trail Run. \nThe race will start and finish at Celebratio Pomegranate Farm near Calitzdorp and will take riders on gravel roads in the Gamka Oos area. Riders will pass the Calitzdorp Warm Water Spa and Karoo Water on the outskirts of the Gamka River. \nAbout Celebratio Pomegranate Farm\n“The farm Celebratio\, situated between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp in the Little Karoo\, is owned by a third-generation Meyer who refused to take “no” for an answer when experts said the land was not suitable for the cultivation of any crops. Today Celebratio successfully grows and exports pomegranates. Gerhard permanently moved to the farm in October 2017. Since then he has been busy establishing an eco tourism leg to the farm. His dream is to make Celebratio a landmark in the Little Karoo with an offering second to none. DESCRIPTION:The beautiful and untouched gem of the Garden Route\, will host riders on this three-day mountain bike stage ride. With tracks hugging the rugged coastline and views only seen on postcards\, this ride is designed around the intermediate cyclist looking for an adventure without having to spend hours training every day. The daily distances range from 40-70 kms and will traverse the mountains\, plantations and coastline adjacent to the Village. \nPackage consists of the following:\n\nA Mountain Bike adventure that exposes you to all the Tsitsikamma can offer\nThree stages\nTwo scrumptious meals per day.  Lunch and Dinner daily from Thursday\, 4 August 2022  to Sunday\, 7 August 2022  lunch. DESCRIPTION:LEGEND EXTREME DUATHLON \nMTB & Off Road Motorbike 2 Man Team \n6 – 8 August 2022 \nKathoek Adventure Farm (between Bredasdorp & Malgas) \nThe Legend Extreme Duathlon is a 2 Man Team stage event consisting of 1 MTB rider and 1 Off-Road Motorcycle rider per team. \nThe event takes place in the Overberg region. \nOVERVIEW \nThe goal of hosting this dual event is to bring MTB and Off-Road Motorcycle riders together\, increasing visitation in the Overberg District so that locals can benefit. One strategy focuses on making this area a top-box destination for various sport meeting and event planners by creating greater awareness\, attracting interested visitors resulting in increased tourist activity throughout the area. \nOur aim is to make this event an annual fixture\, it is the FIRST of its kind in the world. \nAdditional Info: \nRiders must also bring the following: \n\nWater bottles or hydration backpacks. Water filling stations will be provided on route.\nOwn additional nutrition supplies.\nCash bar available at event.\nFood stalls will be available at the event.\nBag drop area will NOT be available at this event.\nParking will be available at the venue.
