DESCRIPTION:This race proudly is the first MTB stage race in South Africa. The views while riding on these historic roads are extraordinary\, jaw-dropping and nail-biting all in one. It is known as the longest mountain pass in South Africa. \nThe overnight stop in The Hell means everybody stays together\, which makes for a great atmosphere. The uniqueness of the race village is ‘captured’ within the sheer remoteness of Gamkaskloof\, no electricity\, no cell reception\, no TV\, not even radio reception. \nIt was in 1995 that the first To Hell and Back took place. It came about from the love of riding and to popularise The Hell. This four-day cycling adventure is set to take place from the 29th of December\, and it promises to be an experience of a lifetime. \n500km. Self-supported. This means no aid stations\, no route markings. You get a route gpx file and you ride it your way. Do it over the full 60 hour cut-off and stop where you like\, or test your mettle and ride it non-stop. DESCRIPTION:St Francis Sport Custom Construction MTB Challenge \nThe Custom Construction MTB Challenge is part of the 17th annual St Francis Sport Summer Series! \nThe route mainly consist of dirt road and grassy jeep track through the reserve\, and the longer distance is two loops of the route. \nAccess to this area is restricted and it is a privilege that Eskom opens their land for us to host the event. \nTwo distances are available:  15km and 30km. \nNote: \n– a series entry of R600 will give you individual access to all 9 events. \n– a short prize giving will take place after the event where the top 3 male and females in each category will receive certificates. \nNO NUMBER\, NO PARTICIPATION \nMore information: www.stfrancissport.co.za
