Hansgrohe Signs as ABSA Cape Epic Headline Sponsor

Hansgrohe has been looking after the showering and wash needs of all participating riders at the ABSA Cape Epic since 2012 , and will continue to provide and manage a world class service going forward.

The global player and local leader in bathroom and kitchen products will be sponsoring the Women’s Category and becoming a headline partner to the race.

“This is great news: the Women’s Category has been growing strongly over the years,”said Absa Cape Epic CEO Lynn Naude. “Hansgrohe’s extension of its relationship will enable us to keep a special focus on our women riders.”

Since 2014 the Cape Epic has equalised the prize money across the elite men and women platforms, which has significantly lifted the profile of ladies category.

Apart from sponsoring the women’s category, Hansgrohe will continue to supply shower facilities at each Race Village. A clear environmental message is attached to the Hansgrohe Shower Zone experience – each shower cubicle is fitted with a Hansgrohe showerhead while low-flow technology aerates and saves up to 60% of the water in the process.
