The Merrell Tsitsikamma race is a prominent event on our local calendar, taking place on Saturday, 13 October 2018. The event starts and ends at the scenic Tsitsikamma Falls Adventure – perfectly situated to draw riders from both the Eastern and Southern Cape.

Not only does it offer a test of skill, the route shows off breathtaking views from rugged cliffs high above the raging ocean.

The event is perfect for the serious rider, but caters for the family too! With more than one distance to choose from, not only mom and dad can participate, the little ones who are small in size but big in heart, can join in too!

The MTB event offers three distances:

• 28km fun ride;
• 42km half marathon;
• 70km Tsitsikamma MTB challenge

There is also an 11km trail run through the plantations.

On-the-day entries will be available at an additional cost, which you can pay cash or via Snapscan. Entry fee’s include VAT.

The MTB event is a CSA sanctioned event and all riders are required to register with CSA. Proof will be required for those registered. CSA Day licenses will be available at R35 per person with both online entries and on the day entries.

Registration opens at 06:30, and there’ll be coffee, breakfast, snacks, lunch and cooldrinks available for sale at the venue.

Accommodation

Bookings for Friday night essential! Contact the local tourism office in Storms River Village for alternative accommodation available in the area.
