Reminder: Don’t Miss Ride 3 of the Toyota Tour de Viruale

The third instalment of the Toyota Tour de Virtuale community ride is taking place on Wednesday 31 January at 6pm on Zwift.

The ride will be 45 minutes with the aim of it being a no-drop ride, so it’s important to remember, it’s a ride, not a race.

Your ride leader for this ride is Toyota Elite Ecycling rider Elrika Harmzen.

About Your Ride Leader: Elrika Harmzen

Elrika is a mountain biker and eRacer for the Toyota Elite Ecycling team.  She only started cycling in 2018 but has quickly risen through the ranks and features regularly on the podium at all the local mountain bike and Zwift racing circuits.

Aside from riding bikes, Elrika finished her PhD in Chemistry and Polymer Science in 2016 while working full-time in the same year. She is currently the co-owner of a “first of its kind” commercial lab in Africa that specialises in scanning electron microscopy for various industries to solve root cause analysis and various other analyses.

About The Course For Ride 3

The Rolling Highlands route is a scenic figure 8 route with rolling terrain. We are riding at around 1.8 w/kg to 2.0 w/kg to keep the group together during the ride.
