Rotary Timbercity Gravel Bike Race

Join us for the gravel bike race that will form part of the annual Timbercity Cycle Tour (Seeding event for the Cape Town Cycle Tour). The Rotary Timbercity Gravel Bike Race will be a fundraiser for Rotary.

Although we want to establish a Gravel Bike Event, E-Bikes and Mountain Bikes will also be welcome on the start line! Unfortunately it will only be gravel bikes and E – Bikes (in their own category) that will be able to receive podium positions and prices.

The scenic route of 91km will have an ascent of 1545m of climbing. With 23% tar road and 77% gravel roads this is a proper gravel bike event.

The podium categories will be:

• Junior Men & Women – top 3 (Gravel Bike)
• Elite Men & Women – top 3 (Gravel Bike)
• Vets men & Women – top 3 (Gravel Bike)
• Overall 1st E- Bike 91km
• Overall 1st E-Bike 60km

Of course there will be enough lucky draws for everybody at the prize giving at 13h00 at Route 62 Pub & Grill.
