The 2024 Magalies Rocks the Cradle

Back for a third time, The Magalies Rocks the Cradle MTB & Trail Meander (MRtC) promises to be a day of fun.

This event is for you if you like to ride, run or walk. Something chilled and on your doorstep, and right at the base of the Magalies Mountains. Beautiful views, breathtaking scenery and great hospitality from the local farmers.

The riding will be almost exclusively gravel with a bit of tar thrown in, so bring your gravel bike, or even your Mountain Bike. But get there.

Come and visit the stalls after your ride or run and enjoy some delicious food, craft beer, and buy some choice produce from the various stalls.

This event is for you if you like to get out into the country and enjoy the “gees”

This event is for you if you ride or run for the sheer enjoyment of it.

If you like some or all of the above, this is definitely for you.

MTB Options

We have 3 options for you. Largely a GRAVEL Ride – Nothing technical, almost exclusively district roads, with a few detours, but nothing technical at all.
