It’s OK to…

1. Take your bike to the shop even if you think you can do the repair yourself. A quicker fix means more riding time for you.
2. Ask a mechanic what caused the problem and ask him or her to explain it again if you don’t understand.
3. Go back to the shop after riding 40-80km on a new bike. (In fact, you should.) Components settle and shift during these first few rides, and you’ll want a pro to readjust them for you.
