Titanium: It’s the precious metal of two-wheeled aficionados. And the family-owned Lynskey – with its Tennessee hand-crafted frames – has a heritage that many other brands only wish for.

Lynskey’s Ridgeline 29er is designed as an all-mountain trail hardtail that can be ridden all day. Titanium frames ride with a certain compliance and suppleness, balanced out by the metal’s natural strength. By the same token it’s an extremely tough material, labour-intensive to work with and requiring highly skilled artisans in its fabrication.

As it’s available as a frameset, the importers have specced a fully Munga-ready build (it’s already completed one event) employing a full complement of the other brands also available through them: Jones Carbon Loop bars and bar bag, Lauff Boost Fork, Exposure Dynamo light, Sonn Dynamo Hub, Csixx Carbon rims, XX1x11 mated to XTR cranks and a Wolf Tooth 32t oval chainring, and Rockgeist seat and frame bags for a range of storage.
