New Orbea Rise: More Power, More Fun, More Adventure
The thrill and handling of an analogue bike with just the right amount of electric assist.
Orbea is back with the 2025 Rise, and it’s ready to shake up the e-MTB scene. Designed for trail riders who want an electric boost without sacrificing the handling of an analogue bike, the Rise blends power, range and customisation into one sleek package.
At the heart of the Rise is the latest Shimano EP801 RS motor. It’s a full-power unit, offering 85 Nm of torque.
Riders can choose between two modes:
RS Mode – A natural pedal feel, perfect for long climbs and technical sections, or for riding with your mates on unpowered bikes.
RS+ Mode – Full power for multiple runs, or for tackling steep and demanding terrain.
The 2025 Rise ships with a slim but powerful 630 Wh battery – enough juice for all-day adventures. And you can go even longer with an optional 210 Wh range extender that slots into the bottle cage spot and boosts total capacity to a whopping 840 Wh.
Two versions, one epic ride
There are two configurations of the new Rise:
Rise SL – 140 mm of travel, built for fast, nimble trail riding.
Rise LT – A burlier setup with 150 mm of rear suspension travel and a 160 mm fork, for bigger hits and tougher descents.
Both versions have a stiff, lightweight carbon frame and a flip-chip system to adjust the geometry, offering incredible versatility for any trail.
And you can customise your bike even further with Orbea’s MyO configurator – choose colours, components and much more to make your new e-bike 100% your own.
A blend of power and play
In summary, the new 2025 Orbea Rise strikes a great balance between the natural feel of a traditional mountain bike and the thrill of electric assistance. Its lightweight design and versatile performance make it a perfect choice for riders who want to push their limits, whether tackling challenging climbs, exploring remote trails, or enjoying fast-flowing descents.
