Forget those cumbersome panniers and racks, the modern bike bag is the business! With a handlebar bag, a frame bag and a seat bag, you can tackle two- to three-night missions with ease. Choosing wisely will ensure your first dip into the world of undiscovered roads, friendly strangers and lifetime memories is a positive one. Here are our picks.

Geosmina handlebar bag

This 10-litre handlebar bag from the Spanish brand has a nylon outer shell and laminated TPU inner, which combine to make it 100% waterproof. It has roll-down closures on either side for easy access to your stuff, and the straps are gentle on your bike’s handlebar, be it a flat bar or drops.
