GTO marks the pinnacle of the Total Comfort MILLE GT line – spiritual successor to the iconic CENTO and Campionissimo Bib Shorts. It features the plushest, most responsive and breathable ASSOS insert to date, wrapped in our new frictionless, wrinkle-free paneling. The GTO has two leg lengths: STANDARD and LONG (+3cm vs standard).

The shorts’ primary textile is called OSSIDIA, and is used by the Swiss masters of bike comfort to strike the ideal balance between frictionless comfort and muscle-supporting compression. Its warp-knit composition is made with ultra-thin, elasticated yarns for muscle hold, breathability and a silky-smooth wrap along your lower back and thighs. The front panel uses LOSANGA, a neew ASSOS-developed textile that eliminates pressure against sensetive areas.
The GTO straps and leg panels are constructed using the firm’s rollBar and one-piece Butterfly panel for proven stability. The ZeroWaist construction takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have, you will never go back to feeling constricted again, especially with the superFlat , criss-cross bibs. Each leg panel features the louvreTec darted construction, which tapers down the outside of each thigh for a custom, compressive hold. The GTO offers tow leg lengths, too; STANDARD and LONG, which offers three extra centimetres of length before you find the SkinGrip pressure-free stabilisation that keeps it all in place above the knee.
A radical departure from traditional insert construction, the GTO C2 maximizes sit-bone and soft-tissue support in one seamless platform. The rear of the insert cushions with three layers of multi-density memory foam, while the pre-shaped microfibre panel eliminates pressure on the most sensitive areas in the front.The six-piece padded insert is typical ASSOS – names like Sundeck Superlight, WhirlKrater, GoldenGate and 3D Waffle sandwiched with filter- and micro-foam sections for breathable comfort in all conditions you might meet in sunny South Africa.
