Bestmed Tshwane Classic Charity Ride

START TIME: 07H30 (but you can ride anytime during the day when it suits you!)

Are you missing the races? Of course, you are. We all are! Join us to celebrate the easing into level 3 lockdown on Youth Day by doing a charity social fun ride on Tuesday 16 June 2020.
Although we can’t ride in together in physical proximity, we’re just going to have fun and each rider can select his own route and distance.
We would like cyclists to experience a final bit of camaraderie and lift spirits before the winter cold sets in properly, and in the process contribute to our SA Cycle4Food beneficiaries.
It’s also a great opportunity for kids, who have been deprived of school sport, to be active on a day which is fitting for the occasion.
How to take part?
It’s easy!
Enter on www.cycleevents.co.za. The entry fee is R60 per adult and R10 per child under 8 and all entry fees will go to the charity projects mentioned above.
Select a route and distance which suits your level of ability, and simply take off, knowing that you are part of a community doing something special for a good cause!
You can do the ride anywhere in the country!
The suggested start time is at 07h30 – but you’re welcome to start later!
What’s the point?
Just to have fun; to get out on the road and feel a sense of community, rivalry and camaraderie, and knowing that if you take part you are making a difference in someone else’s life.
There are no cash prizes, but we will do lucky draws with delightful gifts donated by one of our beneficiaries, the “Fat Sheep” Project and we will also be giving away free entries into our events later in the year, including the Bestmed Tshwane Classic.

How do I view results?
There are no results. We’re just having fun and contributing to a good cause, but RaceTec will publish a start list so that you can see which of your friends are also taking part!
