Taking place in the scenic countryside town of Heidelberg WC, at the Heidelberg Showgrounds, just 275 km from Cape Town, The Giant Pumpkin Festival is set to become a popular calendar event in the Hessequa region.

About the Giant Pumkin Festival
The festival will celebrate, as usual, the Largest Pumpkins in South Africa and also host a Golf Day, a Trail Run, Beer Garden and Potjiekos Competition, Luxury Camping (Glamping) Live Music and dance and entertainment for the whole family.
There are big prizes up for grabs at the 2018 Giant Pumpkin Festival, the biggest pumpkin will win R15 000. If the World record is broken, you could win R150 000! If the South African record is broken, you will win R30 000 and if you get over 750kg then you will win R60 000.
