Golden Delight 226 Brick Challenge

Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal: Golden Delight, the beloved Kwa-Zulu Natal-based rice brand, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the seventh annual 226 Brick Challenge, a swim, run and cycle event set to take place at the Durban Beachfront from December 2nd to December 3rd, 2023.

Dive into a thrilling day of fitness and fun with your family at the 226 GOLDEN DELIGHT BRICK CHALLENGE. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or a novice eager to kickstart your fitness journey, this event offers a range of challenges to suit all levels allowing participants to have the option of doing one or all 3 separate events at the distance that suits them best. There is no obligation to compete in all 3 challenges.

WHAT ARE THE SEPARATE CHALLENGES?
You can enter all three challenges or choose the one that appeals to you. All races will start and end at the same point listed here:

SWIM | 2 December | 6am | Durban Undersea Club (Point Beach)
Distance: 1km, 2km or 3km

RUN | 2 December | 9am | Durban Undersea Club
Distance: 5km, 10km or 20km

BIKE | 3 December | 6am | Kings Park Swimming Pool Precinct (next to Moses Mabhida
Stadium)
Distance: 20km, 40km or 80km
This cycle challenge is open to individuals and teams, but is limited to 500 cyclists
