SEEDING EVENTS: The 80 km and 50 km races are seeding events for the 2020 Cape Town Cycle Tour!

Our MTB Events consist of two premier races – the 80 km race for elite riders and the ‘half marathon’ 50 km event for experienced MTB cyclists – and the two family events – the 30 km and 15 km rides for adults and children aged 9-16 years. This year, three events have been reinvigorated with changed courses and new challenges! The premier events will have more kms in forest areas and more single track. The 80, 50 and 30 km races will descend via Eastford to the Oakhill School cycle track, thus avoiding the Simola Hill descent.

This year the 30 km event will follow a slightly more family-friendly, easier route with less climbing.

The route for the 15 km race, which was introduced in 2017, will remain the same.

Both the 30 km and 15 km races will be priced for families, with only one adult in the group paying full price and additional family members paying just 50% of the entry fee.
