Kremetart Cycling Race
The Kremetart Cycling Race is the only One Day, Four Stage Race in South Africa.
This year the race is on the 8th of June 2019, don’t just make it a date, bring the family and make a family weekend.
The Soutpansberg Mountain Range offers a wonderful backdrop to the race, with the warm winter African Sun rising over the peaks of the mountain greeting all cyclist in the early morning.
Plenty of rest inbetween stages and great local cuisine gives the Kremetart Cycling Race its unique atmosphere and makes it a favourite among cyclists.
The Kremetart Cycling Race is one of its kind and a must do for any cycling enthusiast.
ABOUT THE RACE
Stage 1 starts from Louis Trichardt High School. Enjoy our ‘local is lekker’ cuisine on the first stop, get your fresh serving of fruit, scones, muffins, yogurt and a steaming hot cup of coffee of tea. To boost you, grab an energy bar, sandwiches and the well known ‘Special Soup’ before the next start.
Stage 2 starts form Waterpoort, the cyclists pass the Saltpans, cycling past our beautiful Kremetart trees and scenic Bushveld route. Our next stop is Vivo for a relaxing lunch.
Don’t forget to grab some H2O at every stage.
Stage 3 starts from Vivo, full of energy and against the wind to Schoemansdal, for a pancake
Stage 4 starts from Schoemansdal, the last stretch back to Louis Trichardt. Where a cold beer and a traditional potjiekos will be waiting for you , with a mega prize-giving and entertainment of note.
