MTB Country Cycling – Rosendal [POSTPONED]
In light of the recent Covid-19 virus developments and the ban by government on events/gatherings involving more than 100 people, WildTrail SA was left with no choice but to postpone the Rosendal Country Cycling MTB Event. We do agree that it is in the best interest of all our entrants that we do this and are committed to providing you with an amazing, healthy event experience in the near future. The show will go on!
Once there is more information around the banning of events, and the threat of the virus has been contained, we will announce a proposed new date for the race.
Thank you so much to everyone that has entered this race and we assure you that we will do our absolute best to reschedule as soon as possible.

The Gravel Grand Prix Cycling Series has been designed to offer the perfect weekend breakaway to the beautiful countryside for all types of cyclist and their family and supporters.
The first event in the 2020 series will revisit the beautiful little artist town of Rosendal in the Eastern Free State.
Rosendal is only a 3 hour drive from Gauteng and offers the perfect cycling weekend breakaway with the ultimate and authentic country charm.
Often called the “New Clarens”, the gorgeous village of Rosendal is set on the edge of the Witteberge, which forms part of the foothills of the magnificent Maluti mountains. It’s a photographer’s paradise, a hamlet where many artists and writers live and find their inspiration.
The pace of life is slow here; it’s the perfect antidote to those needing a break from the big lights of the bright city.

Two Day Stage Race (4 & 5 April) | 62km or 33km Single Day Race (4 April)

Yolla’s Restaurant & Bar, Rosendal, Eastern Free State

Stage race: Day 1 – 62km – 750m total ascent | Day 2 – 58km – 760m total ascent
Single Day Long – 62km – 750m total ascent | Single Day Short – 33km – 420m total ascent

Start Times and Registrations:
Registrations will be on Friday, 03 April from 17h00 to 20h00 as well as Saturday morning, 4 April from 06h00 to 07h00
Race start is at 7h30.
