Ride The Vines #6

With the success of our Run The Vines Trail Run Series we decided to host a series of MTB Events for our MTB riders on the same format as our Trail Run events.

The aim of our events is to provide a fun day out for the whole family with a route for the more serious rider as well as the novice that just want to have a nice day out with family and friends. All events will have a 10km and a 30km to 40km route depending on the terrain at the farm.

All our events will have a safe children’s playing area under supervision with free jumping castles and face paints for the kids, a secure area to leave your valuables and specials on food and wine for all to enjoy.

Nestled within a natural amphitheater shaped by the vertical cliffs of the spectacular Simonsberg Mountain, lies Vrede en Lust Estate – home to the wines produced and bottled by the Buys-family.

Riders will ride through the vineyards on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountain and experience some of the most spectacular views on offer in the Paarl / Franschoek region. You will also ride on brand new single tracks that was build by the well known Pieter Van Wyk.

Kids under 12 are free but kids under 8 must be accompanied by a paid adult.
