Swazi Frontier

A stage race held over 3 days in the north-west corner of Eswatini.
Team and solo entries – e-bikes are welcome.
The route is carefully designed to showcase some of Eswatini’s most spectacular and scenic mountains and valleys.

Our boutique race is distinguished by its rural and remote route, limited number of riders and also by its Race Village accommodation in resorts, lodges and hotels (included in your Entry Fee).

The route follows a logical progression from one overnight venue to the next and covers a total of 180kms. Make no mistake, Eswatini is not flat!

The route is almost entirely unmarked except for some of the fast flowing descents and some tricky sections. Navigation will be by GPS. A GPS unit is essential .

There is one water point each day at approximately the halfway mark. Certain sections of the route have been included specifically to indulge those who relish the challenge of a technical climb or descent and should be approached with caution by the saner amongst us.

Entries open: 1st December 2019.

Early Bird Special
We will hold the Entry Fee at 2019 rates if you enter and pay in full before Tuesday 31st December 2019. Teams at R16 900 (Upgraded) and R15 700 (Standard) or Solo R9950 (Upgraded) and R9350 (Standard) – all vat inclusive.

Discount for Groups of 10 riders
We are offering a 10% discount on groups of 10 or more riders provided that:
all riders enter at the same time;
all Entry Forms include both your Group as well as your Team name;
a list of the names and emails of your Group’s riders accompanies the Entry Forms; and,
all riders in your Group pay before the due date (which we will provide when we receive your Group’s entries).

To qualify for the Early Bird Special and Group Discount, all riders must be fully paid up by Tuesday 31st December 2019. If you enter and/or pay after that date, only the 10% Group Discount will apply.
