THE HIGHLAND 100
Take on the Freestate’s one day 100km MTB marathon, the HIGHLAND 100 in the iconic Eastern Highlands.
Based in the iconic village of Clarens, the route takes you on a postcard highlights tour of the region, amongst towering buttes and the Maluti’s in the background.
Start and finish is in the Clarens Town Square.
The riding is designed to make the route fast, not technically difficult. But don’t be fooled this is not an easy day out for everyone.
MTB and E-Bikes are all allowed to participate. Sadly road conditions not ideal for Gravel bikes in 2019.
R450 entry fee includes race shirt and other goodie bag items.
Being a long weekend, it’s the perfect chance to combine riding and a family weekend away, savouring the sights, sounds and tastes Clarens is famous for.
HIGHLAND 50:- Due to popular demand we have now added a 50km option to our event. This will also start & finish in the Clarens town square. It will take riders on a similar yet 50km shorter route than the 100km event. Gravel roads and stunning scenery. A water table will keep you fuelled through the race!
R270 entry fee includes race shirt for first 200 entrants.

Late entry is available @ Registration (100km = R500, 50kms = R300)
