Wakkerstroom eXplore began in 2021 and offers riders a bit of ‘High Altitude‘ training or an awesome weekend breakaway with family and friends.

The Wakkerstroom eXplore on 5-6 March 2022 is also perfectly suited for training for ULTRA events, with an altitude starting at 1760m above sea level – we will regularly hit 2000m above and even higher 😉

Wakkerstroom has:

• Mountains with kloofs
• Mountain springs
• Vlei areas
• Dams
• Conservation sites
• Heritage sites

It has AMPLE ACCOMMODATION, great restaurants, . . . and best of all, is less than 3 hour’s drive from Johannesburg (260kms) – making it PERFECT for weekend cycling ‘Break-Away’s 😉
