Cyclists owned the streets of Johannesburg on Sunday, November 17 at the 2024 Virgin Active Ride Joburg.  In the elite women’s race, S’Annara Grove claimed victory after a tactical morning filled with breakaways and intense teamwork. She surged ahead in a dramatic sprint finish, followed by Vera Looser in second and Hayley Preen in third. The men’s race was equally thrilling, with Team Honeycomb dictating the pace. Ryan Gibbons, 2024 SA Champion, clinched first place after a fierce sprint battle, edging out Reinardt Janse Van Rensburg, who took second, and Jaedon Terlouw, who finished third.
