Lauren Dolan Suffers Gruesome Crash, Still Finishes Race
British cyclist Lauren Dolan sustained a terrible injury to her right leg after her front wheel hit a hidden drain cover during the women’s junior individual time-trial at the Road World Championships in Norway.
She went flying over her handlebars and slammed into a concrete barrier sustaining multiple lacerations. Showing true grit, she still managed to make it to the finish line. Cycling certainly ain’t for sissies!
