Affectionately dubbed “SA’s MTB Party of the year”, the Savanna Origin of Trails is an individual 2-day MTB stage race that takes place in the heart of Stellenbosch. With world class routes, breath-taking views, live entertainment, dress up competitions, complimentary drinks, and more… The Savanna Origin of Trails is a must on everyone’s MTB calendar!
Founded in 2013, the Savanna Origin of Trails routes highlight the beauty and splendor of Stellenbosch, and mountain bikers can look forward to experiencing a vast network of world-class trails while celebrating the origin of SA mountain biking.
Be sure to take in the scenery, enjoy the routes while experiencing on-route offerings that go against the norm at SA’s “MTB Party of the year”! The Race Village will be buzzing with excitement, live music, mouth-watering food, drinks and more.
